Constructed from aircraft aluminum, it's a mere 700 grams and 115 x 95 x 95mm in size. Its portability ensures convenient storage and transport, ideal for mobile content creation. Note: Not compatible with bowens mount accessoires. If you need a softbox, it is recommended to buy dedicated softbox - 4358/4682/4683 or SmallRig bowens mount adapter - 4476.
Outstanding Colour Rendering: The SmallRig RC 100B COB video light boasts a 2700K-6500K color temperature range and impressive illumination of 4,610 lux (bare, at 1m/5600K) and 20,100 lux (with hyper reflector, at 1m/5600K). With a high CRI of 97+, TLCI of 98+, and TM-30 (3200K) Rf/Rg scores of 97/102 and with 12 common special effects, it delivers professional color performance for precise, natural daylight reproduction.
Versatile Power Options: The RC 100B light features unique interface design that supports various charging methods. For wireless charging, it's compatible with V-mount batteries. For wired charging, a USB-C port is available and support PD power bank. Note: Only the compatible interfaces powered by; the charging devices mentioned are not provided.
Innovative Design: The RC 100B video light allows for direct charging with V-mount batteries (recommended capacity > 98Wh, output power > 120W, voltage ≤ 35V). Noiseless Cooling Fan: Equipped with intelligent temperature control cooling technology, the body dissipates heat quickly and has low operating noise. The noise is about 26dB within 1 meter, and the noise at 1 meter in ECO mode is about 18dB, and your video recording will not be disturbed by noise.

I don’t usually leave reviews because I can’t be bothered. But this light is genuinely worth it despite the price being a tad more than Godox for example. Yes, you may not get the power plug. But using your USBC brick and cable, the footprint is so small for this light and the quality is on point. My crew was so impressed with the results.

The SmallRig RC 100B COB Video Light has been a fantastic addition to my setup, offering portability, versatility, and excellent performance. Its bicolour range (2700K-6500K) and high CRI ensure accurate, professional-quality lighting, while the compact, durable design makes it easy to carry for shoots on the go. I like its multiple power options, including USB-C PD fast charging and compatibility with V-mount batteries, although these accessories aren't included. The light is easy to control via onboard buttons or the app, which is intuitive and handy for remote adjustments. The standard Bowens mount is a great touch, allowing flexibility with modifiers, and the quiet cooling fan ensures no disruptions during recording. While the lack of a carrying case and power adapter is a minor drawback, the overall quality and performance make this light an excellent choice for creators.

One very annoying feature

It’s a great little light works well battery life is terrible you may get 20mins at 100%, but the most annoying thing about this light is powering it from the mains
So it charges the internal battery and a fan comes on to cool the unit. Fine…. But when the light if “off” and fully charged the fan never turns offs. It might sound silly but for me I like to leave my lighting rig with mains power plugged in so I can come in , flick the power switch on each light and then get to work.

On this you simply can’t. Or you risk burning out the fan.

I would lightly suggest a different light. Build quality it great and consistent with most small rigs products, a small rig 11in magic arm will not support this arm either. Again food for thought.

Ha pasado ya 1 mes desde que adquirí esta luz y sólo tengo buenas palabras.

Esto no es una de tantas reseñas que hay compradas porque han recibido productos gratis. Esta luz la he comprado con mi propio dinero y tengo que decir que si, merece la pena su compra, especialmente si eres un filmaker que trabaja en movilidad.

Al principio tenía mis dudas de la calidad y acabados de los materiales pero debo reconocer que ha superado todas mis expectativas. Hay que ser realista, por el precio que tiene esta luz no puedes esperar materiales de marcas que valen 4 o 5 veces más pero cumple perfectamente con lo que se le puede pedir a un foco de estas caracteristicas.

El diseño me parece brillante. Al poner una Vmount (yo utilizo la de NEEWER) en la parte trasera, no hace falta ningún tipo de cable, simplemente colocar y listo. Además, todo queda como un unico bloque muy compacto que se hace muy cómodo de sujetar y transportar.

El tamaño de esta luz es realmente pequeño pero la luz que dá es increible. Yo adquirí el kit que venia con el pequeño difusor de silicona y hace un combo perfecto. En una maleta muy pequeña cabrían perfectamente dos luces como esta.

Esta luz serviría como luz principal si tienes un set de grabación pequeño pero en mi caso para el tipo de trabajo que realizo la utilizo como hair light junto a otro foco de 300W que utilizo como luz principal.

Si dentro de unos meses hubiese algún problema, editaré esta reseña pero de momento un 10/10. Seguramente próximamente adquiera una segunda unidad.

Io l'ho comprato, non l'ho ricevuto in regalo come gli altri recensori ... con questa premessa, ha soddisfatto pienamente le mie aspettative, già felice possessore di due SmallRig RC60B alla ricerca di maggiore potenza. Le caratteristiche restano simili, ottima costruzione e funzionalità immediate, in un corpo di dimensioni e peso simile ma con potenza circa doppia.
Chi è interessato deve solo prestare attenzione al fatto che è necessario avere una batteria esterna opzionale, perché nella scatola non c'è alcune fonte di alimentazione.
Prezzo ok, viste le prestazioni, qualità della luce ottima. Ho apprezzato che ci sia il guscio in silicone, ma ne ho già due.
Pollice verso sul fatto che venga consegnato in una scatola di cartone e non nell'astuccio elegante del modello più piccolo. Non ci voleva molto a farne uno anche per questo (io ho adattato quella del RC60B che non uso più).

I freaking love this light. No need for cable. Just connect a V-mount battery and that's it. The quality is exceptional.

I first got the NEEWER HS60B but the build quality wasn't very good. The 1/4 thread was already showing sign of weakness after 1 week and it wouldn't lock correctly in position because of the plastic nut they use. Sure it's cheaper but it's also only 60w compared to the 100w of this Smallrig.

Don't look anywhere else for a portable light. It's the best right now.

You won't have a problem with this smallrig light. Everything is heavy duty.
