  Have tried several tree planting spades/spears over last 45 years of extensive tree planting. Needed a new one quickly for looming National Tree Week so thought I would try this one as quick delivery and a very competitive price. only 30 container trees in, but feels great, nice clean cuts, good balance, not overly heavy to carry round. So far very happy - several others have “borrowed” it and suspect will be buying their own having had to wrestle mine back off them! High praise from a picky user give one a go I am sure you won’t be disappointed. Smaller width and shaping is actually really useful for many things besides tree planting…
