A YOUNG GIRL TRYING TO LOCATE SISTER MEETS THE SAME FATE. BEFORE DEATH HER GHOST GOES INTO NURSE, THAT TRIED TO HELP. NUDITY AMOUNT SIMILAR TO THE FIRST. NURSE WREAKS HAVOC AND DEMON COMES IN AT THE END AND DOES A WHOLE LOT BETTER. OPTICAL BLUR USED BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THE FIRST ONE. THIRD AND LAST, IS ABOUT TORTURERS TRYING TO OBTAIN A SERIES OF COMBINATIONS. WHICH WILL LEAD THEM TO STOLEN MONEY. RASCALS ALL ROUND NO INNOCENT PARTIES IN THIS ONE. ODD NO DEMON EITHER. A trio of Japanese films from director Kazuo 'Gaira' Komizu consisting of GUTS OF A VIRGIN (1986), GUTS OF A BEAUTY (1986) AND RUSTED BODY: GUTS OF A BEAUTY 3 (1987).

These movies are straight-up perverse right from the get-go with the first two injecting a bit of horror into the proceedings with the third attempting to be a bit more erotic and tasteful but still quite smutty. The horror elements in the first two movies don't really kick in until the last half of the films' duration with a sprinkling of blood and gore, but the sex scenes are prevelant throughout. The sex and nudity featured in these films are full-on sleaze, so sleazy and perverse that you just can't help but laugh at how dirty it all is. You can almost see sweat and other bodily fluids oozing from the screen. Now be aware that due to Japanese censorship laws at the time any glimpse of nudity of the pubic regions was outlawed and had to be censored and it was no different with these GUTS movies; so optical fogging has been used occasionally to blur out those offending instances, mostly in the first film. But this will in no way disguise the fact that these are some of the most sleaziest entries into the Japanese 'Pinku' sub-genre. They may be a little light on the horror and violence than you might expect but if you're a fan of semi-pornographic exploitation then you're in for a bit of an eye-opener.

88 Films have given the UK it's first ever release of these films and remarkably uncut too (the unavoidable optical blurring aside)! The picture quality is surprisingly really good on all three included films aside from those moments where optical fogging has been applied where the image goes a bit soft. Unfortunately extras are very thin with just an interview with the director included which has been split between the discs of the first two films. A booklet with some info on the films and genre is also included. The box housing the Blu-rays is quite impressive looking and there's fantastic artwork provided throughout both new and retro. Overall it's a solid box set release despite being a bit bare bones. They're numbered and limited to 3000 so snap it up while you can.

A pretty (box) yes , but the most important thing is the films, which are a pile of tosh, boring tosh, the box makes you think there gonna be extreme over the top gore... But NO, there pretty much bad awful sex flicks with a tiny little itsy bitsy teeny weenie bit of gore, which looks tosh . So you don't get what's on the box, the box looks Bostin , but that's about it, tosh trash , slow, bland, boring flicks.
