Starring:
Chow Yun-Fat as Ko Chun
Joey Wong as Jane
Andy Lau as Knife
Product description
Ko Chun is the greatest high-roller in the world, king of the casino and as cool as only an in-his-prime Chow Yun-fat (Hard Boiled; Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) can be. But that's before a nasty head injury renders him mentally disabled.
After being befriended by unscrupulous hustler 'Knife' (golden-throated Canto-Pop king Andy Lau), it is discovered that, despite his other impairments, Ko's unerring instincts for gambling remain intact. Knife thinks he's on to a sure thing but Ko still has enemies and they haven't forgotten him...
A huge hit on its original release, and one of the defining films of Chow Yun-fat's astonishing career, the card-sharks at 88 Films are proud to roll the dice on a gloriously restored version of this Hong Kong classic.

5.0 out of 5 stars a classic!
chow yun-fat at his best. this is a classic that must be watched. 3 movies in total but the first is excellent. makes you want to become a professional gambler just watching it. if you like that kind of thing and chinese kung fu movies, this is for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars As good as you're going to get on Blu Ray
As good as you're going to get on Blu Ray. It's not flawless, looks pretty much just like the DVD version, but at least it's 1080P native and doesn't suffer from blocky artifacts and blurriness from being upscaled like a DVD. If you're a fan of this movie or series, it's worth grabbing to replace your DVD copy. Some subtitles are different, but it's mainly the same. BUY IT
