About this item

Stretchable Mounting Point: The mounting point screw uses a retractable housing, and could quickly switch between 1/4"-20 locating screw and 3/8"-16 locating for ARRI screw without special operations so that the handle could attach to more camera cages and L plates.Such as SmallRig A7600 Cage, for NEEWER A7 IV Camera Cage, for TILTA FX3 FX30 Cage.
Up / Down Adjustable: The handle can be adjusted up and down by 36mm (1.42 inches), to balance the center of gravity and avoid interference with cable mounts.
Left / Right Hand Universal: The handle is made of non-slip silicone material and features an ergonomic design. It can be quickly switched from left-handed to right-handed by the built-in wrench.
Strong and Durable Design: Mainly made of high-strength aluminum alloy, the stretchable mounting points are made of stainless steel material. Max Load capacity to 15kg.
Multiple Mounting Points: Built-in 1/4"-20 threaded hole for attaching ballhead magic arm (ID: 3873), 1/4"-20 locating hole for attaching ballhead magic arm (ID: 3875), strap hole for wrist strap (ID: 3848), cold shoe for monitor mount (ID: 2905B), LED video light (ID: 4055), etc.

Great handle, nice feel and weight and secures simply yet securely. I tried a Neewer handle which was also nice but had two securing threads that wouldn't work with my Tilta cage. They should have fitted but their thumb heads bashed into each other so you couldn't secure it. Silly design flaw.

This handle has one thread and two locating/locking pins (one either side). This made attaching simple with just the one thread and the two locating pins kept it in place.

Being SmallRig, it was pricier but ultimately did the job I needed.

A very professional looking side grip for any camera cage system.

This side handle features the usual Smallrig precision machining and high-quality manufacture.

The handle will fit seamlessly to most camera cage systems as the mounting system has a wide range of vertical adjustment (approximately 35mm) and will attache to both 1/4" 20 and 3/8" 16 mounting threads using the ARRI style mount.

The handle itself features a multitude of mounting points including two 1/4" 20 female threaded points, a standard "cold shoe" mount and also a hole for attaching a strap.

The handle grip is made from a non-slip silicone type material and provides a comfortable and secure grip.

The grip can be utilised as a left-handed or a right-handed grip and can be easily swapped between both configurations by using the supplied Allen key that is housed and stored in the bottom of the grip.

Only slight niggle is that the bottom of the grip looks as if a cover is missing and this would seem to be a small oversight on the part of Smallrig.

Nevertheless, this grip will immediately transform and upgrade your camera cage system making it easier to use by adding extra stability.

De nuevo Smallrig nos trae un accesorio versátil y de alta calidad, especialmente diseñado para sujetar las cámaras y encontrar tomas mas creativas. Fabricado en aluminio y con piezas de sujeción de acero inoxidable, da la sensacion de calidad, durabilidad y resistencia. Además, con su diseño ergonómico y ajustable permite manejar cómodamente la cámara, incluso en situaciones en las que se hayan montado accesorios como luces, micros o monitores.

El cierre de rosca de la empuñadura se puede ajustar para adaptarse a diferentes diámetros, lo que la hace compatible con muchisimas cámaras y si no es compatible con tu camara, siempre la puedes conectar a alguna de las jaulas de Smallrig. En la empuñadura tenemos una clave hexagonal para el ajuste y la instalación de la empuñadura.

La empuñadura se puede ajustar en altura y se puede fijar en ambos lados de la cámara, nos da una flexibilidad extra, independientemente del tamaño de la cámara o nuestras manos.

En relación al tamaño, y no es mi caso, si parece que si el usuario tiene manos grandes la empuñadura se le quede un poco justa ya que no puede engrosarse o crecer longitudinalmente.

Sulla parte superiore abbiamo un attacco cold shoe - quattro fori da ¼” - un attacco arri da ¼” - due attacchi per la cinghia pasamano.
Ha un forma ergonomica e molto elegante, e curata nei minimi dettagli.
Il supporto per il fissaggio sul cage e realizzato interamente in alluminio, si fissa sulla maniglia mediante due viti a brugola nel tunnel centrale e sul cage con l’attacco arri sia da ⅜” che da ¼”.
Infatti la Smallrig ha utilizzato un sistema molto pratico e funzionale che comprende entrambe le viti con un sistema sovrapposto a molla, la vita da ⅜” all’interno ha una vite da ¼” e con una leggera pressione esce fuori permettendoci di avvitare la vite sul cage sempre sistema arri ma con il passo da ¼”, due in uno che dire semplicemente geniale.
