This HDMI Adapter uses both the VGA and RGBS display output options to give you an all-in-one adapter that is capable of playing all Dreamcast games without the need to switch out converters.

Our high-quality Dreamcast converter will provide you with a much clearer image than a standard AV cable and is compatible with all TVs with a HDMI input as well as all models of and regions of Dreamcast’s.

The DC adapter does not need power and carries both audio and video signals without the need for separate converters or VGA cables.

The Kaico Dreamcast HDMI converter uses the highest quality output on a Dreamcast (VGA) and also supports RGBs. I have never written a review before on amazon (at least I think), but this HDMI converter was so impressive that it's worth leaving one for.

Works seamlessly on a modern PC monitor and outputs amazing audio and video with no noticeable input delay.

I've used AV converters before that cost twice as much and leave noise and artefacts, but this is truly as close as you'll get to perfection without using a HDMI mod on the Dreamcast console.

A solid 10/10 for me, I'm definitely looking into buying the same brand for my original Xbox also.

This is a very good product as far as plug & play goes. I'm running it through my old 32 inch sony bravia tv & my favourite Dreamcast games are getting played much more now compared to my CRT TV. There are less than 20 minor games that don't work through this, but my faves - VF3, Speed Devils, Incoming, Daytona 2001, Shadowman, Sega Rally 2, Soul Calibur, plus loads of others, are now looking very sharp indeed. Speed Devils is a very good example, & Metropolis Street Racer as well, as these two looked rather fuzzy & blurry on the CRT, which is what they were destined to be played on. They now look really great thanks to this HDMI converter. If you go into dark areas such as in Shadowman, you can see the feint vertical lines present, but they don't show up in normally lit areas. In other words, well done Kaico, for making this simple plug & play device. Highly recommended & at a very reasonable price. 😁👍🎮

Can`t fault this for the price. Got it running on a 55 inch OLED and as far as 640x480P outputs go, looks fantastic.

But beware with it converting VGA to HDMI output, its sending a PC Full RGB colour space output (0-255) not limited (16-235) which is whats used on most media devices. If you are noticing all your black levels seems crushed, with no detail this is why.

Most modern TV`s allow you to set this in settings under hdmi black level, which you want on high. Make sure your TV supports full RGB colour space range though. If not, you might be best of going the VGA cable route on a monitor or older tv`s that used to support VGA.

Other that that, if you want to relive the glory days of the best Console of all time, this is an essential purchase!

If you have a Dreamcast and a new TV, this is exactly what you need.

Every now and again a product comes along that it simply awesome, doing exactly what you need in the simplest way.

You plug this small little unit into the AV Out socket of your Dreamcast and on the other end you attach your HDMI cable (not supplied) to your TV. Simple! Works brilliantly and finally I can play my old Dreamcast games again.

The unit is very nicely made, using a decent cable and a smart metal casing.

quieres jugar drema cast en una tv con HDMI esta es la solicion, depsues de usar el cable pund y el de hyperkin, solo puedo decir que esta es la mejor opcion que existe en el mercado, el de hyperkin si bien la calidad de imagen es muy buena tiene un tono mas verdoso que se nota en cuanto lo comparas con este de kaico... a nivel visual y todo eso se ven practicamente igual pero el tono de colores kaico es superior, aparte el de hyperkin hay alguina veces que lo conecto y no funciona por alguna razon dream cast no transforma bien las senales que no sean las de su cable de 3 colores pero se soluciona con poner un splitter, cosa que con el de kaico no me a dado hasta ahora ese problema lo pongo directo sin el spliter y me a funcionado de maravilla
ahora para strimear, grabar o solo jugar es la mejor opcion aparte de que nota en un segundo el cambio de imagen de poner tu juego en AV a HDMI puse el de soul reaver y uffff parecia que lo esta jugando en una consola moderna asi de perron se ve sin exagerar (claro que las limitaciones de una magina mas vieja se notan) pero si la verda la calidad de imagen es otro p2 se ve muy bien
