these are basic and easy to layer on the mattebox for different filter effects,,and lightweight for the mattebox,,so doesnt add strain to the lens its mounted on,,,the only thing that is not great,,is the shade guard on the front top of mattebox doesnt close when more than one filter tray is mounted,,so have to remove the second one to close guard and protect the other glass filter on front,,would have been good if they thought ahead and exented or had extension screw on top of mattebox so you could still close the guard with multiple filters/trays attached to front,,,,but caompared to spending thousands on a mattebox,,these are good and do a great job.
