Bought this to replace one whose power supply had blown up. Installed easily. It doesn't come with a power supply but does come with a USB lead (C to the unit, A to your computer / monitor / phone charger type plug) - not to make it work better as the supplier would have it, but to save costs, which is sensible. I plugged it into my PC and that worked fine.
Also had lights for power and all HDMIs connected.
It has dip switches for various quality settings - I didn't need that level of complexity / quality so can't comment there, but left them as delivered, worked.
Thanks to the people who answered my question re power supply.

I have several TVs in the house, and I'd been using a different product that had been causing some drop outs, particularly sound. As I'd bought UGREEN products before I decided to buy this and try it out. Works great and I no longer get any drop outs. The picture quality is as good as if it was directly connected to the Sky box.

I also bought the UGREEN 3-in 1-out switch, so I have three devices that I can remotely switch connected to this splitter and programmable remotes so I can switch the input channels. I'd previously owned a 4x4 Matrix Switch, and whilst the functionality is reduced, I no longer need it, and it's much cheaper than a replacement matrix switch.

It's really hard to find a splitter at a resonable price and from a trusted brand. This is the fourth splitter I've purchased and the first that simply worked. There was a small issue with a screen that was too far away (30 metres - the splitter is only rated for 1080p upto 20 metres) however, I swapped the cable for an Active Optical Cable (AOC) HDMI and now everything simply just works.

I work as a video DJ and Karaoke host. Its common to encounter venues and installations that have multiple, different spec screens. the EDID emulation/switch on the box literally saves the day in these situations. Being able to hook all the venue's screens up and 'trick' the source that they're all one of the same type will save you hours of tearing your hair out. Additional to this I suggest where you can to use fibre optic cables for runs over 5m long to avoid those rare, but real coaxial cable weirdness.
