Unlike my previous switch, there are HDMI cables supplied with this switch kit so you won’t need to source cables before setting up.

Setting up the switch is straightforward and you don’t need any further software, it is simply plug and play. The switch allows you to use one monitor with two computers, which is really handy when space is limited on your desk and you have an old PC that you still need to access.

The switch itself looks attractive in its grey metallic case. The switch does need to be plugged into the mains so ensure you have an extra socket handy. In addition to connecting two computers, you can also connect a keyboard and mouse. No issues so far but will update my review if I run into any problems.

This KVM switch is a great quality item as I’ve come to expect from UGREEN which even includes all the cables you need to get setup. I imagine most people like me will be using this to switch between personal and work PCs and it is ideal for that scenario. The only slight downside is that this is limited to USB 3.0 which is a bit out of date at this point. The 5Gbps transfer rate is not too bad, but be aware it has to be shared across all connected USB devices. The little external button is a nice touch as it means the device and all the messing cabling can be secreted under the desk for a much tidier setup.

Priced at £36 (£45 with 20% voucher) at time if review this is well priced considering the quality.

I require a KVM switch to go between my home PC and work laptop, allowing me to share 1 monitor, keyboard and mouse. I have a current KVM switch but this is starting to cause problems with not switching properly, so a timely upgrade to this KVM was needed.

The instructions are good, it's quick and easy to set up. It comes with 2 USB cables and 2 HDMI cables (both are required for each machine you connect to - they are also very good quality cables). I particularly like that you can swap between machine with a button on top of the KVM switch, plus you also have a desktop control button on a longer cable - I have stuck mine under my desk so it's easy to get to.

A couple of good points to note, the USB ports are USB 3.0 standard (far quicker than USB 2.0), and the KVM supports 4K video @ 60Hz. Assuming you plug in a keyboard and mouse (or as in my case use a wireless keyboard and mouse), you will still have a spare USB-A and USB-C port, perfect for sharing extra USB devices. Of course if you need more you can always plug in a USB hub to the KVM and share more devices.

This is a "must have" device for people wanting to share a screen and devices.

This is an excellent way to switch the monitor view of 2 PCs.
I only have 1 monitor, 1 printer but I do have 2 PCs.
1 is for personal use the other is my work pc as I work from home nowadays.
This is the perfect solution to my situation.
It is very easy to set up and it functions brilliantly.
Seamlessly switch.
4 ports so I can use the same mouse, pen etc too!
Complete with connection port, cables, power adapter, desk controller and Manual
I wish I had purchased this sooner.
I would highly recommend.

Although mine is tucked away under the desk, it does look very neat and has plenty of versatility. On that basis, I believe this represents good value for money and would recommend accordingly.

This is an excellent KVM switch, and an essential item if you have more than one device connected to your monitor and/or peripherals. I had an existing switch that was great, however the switching button had started to become temperamental, and I needed an upgrade. This switch is a small device but is perfectly functional. Setup is a breeze, once you've made sense of your wires, and the quality of the device is excellent. To be honest, it is what I have come to expect of Ugreen products. It works flawlessly and I am very pleased indeed, and at about £45 well worth the modest outlay.
