This product was sent to me to review, as part of غ Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.
I was particularly drawn to it, because I have been using a much older (and much less flexible) tripod for a while, so jumped at the chance to try this one.
In terms of build quality, it appears to have been well-made - the construction is robust, with a sleek, brushed-metal style finish. All of the movable parts have been properly-machined, and can be adjusted with ease, meaning that setup takes very little time indeed. Once finished, it is just as quick to compact down again, ready to be stored inside the handy travel bag. Though it is a little bulky, I wouldn't say that it is too heavy to carry around, and would easily fit in the boot of a car, for example.
The standout feature for me personally is the step-less fluid head - one small push on the lever brings the camera back to position in such a smooth way, that the resulting video footage will look consistent, and less 'jumpy'. You can also adjust the speed of the return movement, to suit your needs, using the dial.
In summary, it is a very good value tripod that would be a worthy addition to any videographer's kit. Highly recommended.
