I like technology that has a bit of weight, solidity to it. If you make an adjustment, I like it to definitely click or turn smoothly and importantly not feel cheap.
This smallrig travel mini tripod meets all my criteria. It looks and feels great out of the box. I suspect that it will carry the weight it says it will and that once the legs are extended and splayed there will be little movement in it - a rather important attribute in a tripod.
There were cheaper models than this one, and there were some much more expensive, using carbon or other less mundane materials. However, this appears to be good value for money.
