Compact and Portable: The SmallRig Selection Tripod Fluid Head CH10 fits well with lightweight tripods and a small camera rig for hiking/backing. This liquid head weighs only 279g, has a height of 70mm and a diameter of 36mm at the base. Note: The safety load for this tripod head is 3kg.
Pan and Tilt Adjustment: This fluid head has firm damping for a smooth operating experience. With the handle, this tripod head can be tilted +90°/-55° and rotated 360° for multi-angle shooting.
Wide Compatibility: SmallRig Selection Tripod Fluid Head 3259 is not only compatible with SmallRig Selection Camera Tripod Monopod 3474/3935/4222 and fits for NEEWER and for K&F Concept and other small tripods but also fully compatible with SLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, pocket cinema cameras, for GoPro, Phone Cage and Phone Clip, etc.
Quick Release Plate: The compact head features a quick-release Arca type plate with a 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw, allowing you to quickly switch between handheld and tripod.
Allen Key: Comes with an Allen key held by a magnet tucked away but easily accessible, it can be used to remove the handle. The included 7.9" pan handle can be installed on either the right or left side of the head.

I have um, more than a few fluid head tripods.
That being said, I actually need a small one for my mirrorless and mobile kit.
I had a nice little set of sticks but it had a ball head.
I have the bigger brother of this video head already and it's great but I didn't want to fork out another 90 quid.

And......It's great. Motion is fine, fluid bit works great and it's under 50 quid.
If you need a lightweight fluid tripod head in black, this is the one.
No fuss, just a tidy little fluid head.
Would I recommend? Of course. Absolutely.
PS, I paired it with a Magic plate. Look that up if you don't know what it is. It's a normal arka swiss plate that turns into a mobile phone holder. Pretty swish.

Smallrig kit is good. This is very small and light and whilst nicely engineered, it has inherent weakness from being so light when used with heavy cameras. I am using it only for travelling-light shooting, or for packing in aircraft hold, on a very lightweight photo tripod - but with a heavier than usual camera - a SonyFS5 is large and looks silly ontop of this Smallrig head - but it works, and you can get smooth pan and tilts as long as you have good technique and have pre-flexed the fluid head so you don't have a jerk inertia.

All in all- a good piece of kit.

This is a nicely built head with lovely small size and weight, and feels well made. There is an adjustment to the tilt which works well for smooth up and down shots. But the knob for panning only locks or unlocks the pan and there is just not enough resistance, so any jitteryness in your pan shows up in the footage. Overall, I don't find it any easier to pan than just using a bullhead set to loose and just using that as a guide. I have found if I sit behind the camera and look through the EVF I can get smoothish pans, but using a lightweight travel tripod with this head and towering over them, using the LCD on the camera just results in crap footage. I can do better handheld with good in camera stab.

Übrigens gibt es genau den gleichen Kopf auch von Rollei, mit dem Namen Rollei aufgeprägt.
Der Kopf ist recht preisgünstig und erfüllt seinen Zweck.
Bei mir geht es darum, eine Kamera mit Tele zu bewegen, um einem Objekt zu folgen oder es überhaupt zu finden. Wenn man ein Objekt langsam heranzoomt, weil man es bei vollem Zoom nur sehr schwer findet, sollte die Kamera in Position bleiben und dennoch sollten Korrekturen möglich sein.
Die Bewegung sollte langsam sein, damit das Objekt nicht plötzlich aus dem Sichtbereich verschwindet.
Das geht mit diesem Stativkopf. Der bremst genug, damit man keine zu hastigen Bewegungen macht.
Und er hält die Position, auch wenn man nicht alles festschraubt bzw. fixiert.
Man kann auch relativ große Objektive nutzen, solange sich Kamera und Objektiv auf dem Kopf im Gleichgewicht befinden.
Die Standard Aufnahme für eine Wechselbefestigung ist für mich schon fast obligatorisch. Wer schraubt schon gerne seine Kamera umständlich fest. Diese hier passt zu meinem System von Peak Design.

The media could not be loaded.

So, I have to admit I am a little disappointed by this item. It is small, compact and lightweight, the vertical pan is actually quite good and smooth. But the horizontal pan is stuttering a lot on initial movement and only gets kind of smooth after 30-40 degrees of rotation. Making it very hard to manage and frame a stable horizontal pan...

I could probably work with that though as a compromise for size, but as you can see in the video, there is a more important issue: the space for the plate attachment is actually very small. And when trying with the peak design attachment system that lives on my camera, the fit is very fragile and not very reassuring. Worse, when pulling a little bit on the camera the locking mechanism of the head is moving. It still seems to hold, but I don't know that I want to wait to find out for how long...

So I'm considering sending it back and looking at alternatives.

The issue doesn't seem to be that bad with the plate provided with the head. But for me it is a deal breaker as my attachment system needs easy transfer of setups based on the peak design attachment.

Disappointed :(
