This replaces a previous suction cup mount that came cheap as part of a multi accessory kit. I lost a screw from the old mount, rendering it useless.

So I upgraded to this mount. It’s excellent. I’ve mounted an Osmo pocket 3, horizontally, to a side window and then drove over rough roads. The Osmo pocket 3 held fast despite what must have been quite a high torque on the mount.

Overall quality and feel is “very durable”. The double articulated arm is also handy for getting that perfect position.

At this price point it's rare to see this level of quality for action camera accessories. The mounts for instance rival the supplied ones by GoPro and have a excellent weatherproof finish.

Design has been thoughtfully considered particularly how the ball head has retractable pins that can be tightened to preference through a tightening dial.

It happily handles GoPro through the supplied mount and smartphones via an accessory and holds securely both to your device and the surface through the excellent suction mount which uses a button clip that tightens so the suction cup is nearly impossible to remove on a smooth surface.

In all I would definitely consider this brand again for other accessory needs.

This suction cup mount is made of metal, thick aluminium alloy for the main structure and stainless steel for other small components such as screws, washers etc. It feels heavy in hand which gives you a sense of safety that this thing will hold my expensive equipment.

The suction cup is well made too. It sticks firmly to my car window as well as the car roof. The lever latch to engage and disengage the suction cup is easy to operate.

I like the small rubber o ring fitted on the ball joint which gives some friction to stop the arm swing about when adjusting the position.

I used it once on a rainy day, attached a GoPro 10 to it and mounted the entire equipment on the roof of my car. I drove on a motorway at 70 mph, which was well above the recommended speed, for 3 hours no stopping. The mount held up well and did not loose up a bit.

However, the rain did do some damage to the mount. The stainless steel washers are rusted as you can see from the image. It is an indication of lower class stainless steel they have used (likely A2). A4 stainless steel will be ideal and isn’t significantly more expensive.

Overall, I still think this is a great product especially if you are only going to use it in dry conditions. It is a shame that they cheaped out on the stainless steel components.

This camera mount has a very effective suction cup along with a bracket for a smartphone or an action camera. All of the components are extremely well-engineered, and I highly recommend the mount for this reason. The double ball-joint allows you to set the position of the camera with precision. I like the additional retractable bolts which hold the brackets onto the mounts. The mount works really well for filming from inside a car. The smartphone bracket is particularly good compared to some others that rely on springs.
