    The film itself is superb - great idea, well implemented, great acting, great visual effects - all of it.
    Butthe sound deserves a very special mention. They say that sound is at least 50% of every movie - screw that up and you will screw up your film. With this movie - both of them actually - they went the other way: the sound is at least 80% of this movie...!!!

    If you don't have a surround sound set up then you are missing more than half of this movie...! The sound on this is just next level stuff - some of THE BEST use of surround sound I have heard in a very long time...!!

    In fact, whenever I want to demo my surround sound set up to any friends - or whenever I re-calibrate my speakers - this is one of the first movies plug in to test/ demo it...! In particular the giving birth scene. This scene alone will highlight whether your system is really up to the task...in fact, this scene is the sole reason that I am now in the process of upgrading the set up I have quite happily had for the last 5 years...!

    This film should come with a general warning - this film may cause you to spend more money on upgrades than you had originally planned for...!

    Absolutely recommended.

    I was pleasantly surprised by this. Bought on impulse and wasn't really expecting much, but these were a lot better than most modern horror films. the sound premise is very unusual - and very well done. If you have a good Atmos setup, the sound is superb.

    The first film is excellent. The second isn't quite as good, but that's not to say it's bad at all. Just not quite up to the very high standard of the first one.
