Comes packaged in the usual Smallrig cardboard box and sleeve containing the mini magic arm and Allen wrench. The magic arm has a ¼ inch screw at each end which can attach to a cage, handle, l-bracket, and the device at the other end like an LED light, monitor or microphone. The clamp is easy to use, the main arm can be screwed into a ¼ inch hole and then tightened in place with the supplied Allen wrench which makes for a secure connection. The thumbscrew lock is well made and loosens both ends at the same time. Like other magic arms it is a little fiddly to position both at the same time, but allows the ball head to positioned where required. Once in position the device can be attached to the ball head which is rubber cushioned to prevent scratches.
