I Installed this unit to a smallrig handle however I'm 100% confident this would be just as effective on any ARRI connecting point.

These guys are the bomb. I wish this was a paid review but its not. Been running the a73 for a while now and just got my a7s3 due to some early purchasing. The cage for that arrived well before the camera and its incredible! I guess this is a review of Smallrig as a whole but from cages, to attachments to Atomos cages, to HDMI supports. Its mint. Cage was direct from them which was a first for me but every one of my other bits is from amazon. Having such quick delivery on so many bits is perfect for work.

Recent dealt with a minor issue and customer service is insane. Sorted me straight out. Even via amazon instead of their website. 10/10.

wie von Smallrig gewohnt gute Materialqualität. Hält den Monitor sehr sicher auf einem Cage (Achtung: diese Variante benötigt ein 3/8-Schraubloch - dies ist nicht an allen Cages bzw. an allen Stellen vorhanden).
Der große Vorteil: die zwei Fixierungsschrauben für die Neigung verfügen über eine Dämpfung, die eine rasche Anpassung des Neigungswinkels des Monitors erlaubt - einhändig und ohne die Aufnahme dafür zwangsläufig unterbrechen zu müssen. Zwar wird nach einiger Zeit des häufigen Hin- und herstellen evt. doch ein Nachziehen der Schrauben (mit Imbusstift!) erforderlich, aber eine Zeitlang kann man damit sehr flexibel aus der Hand filmen und den Monitor schnell für die jeweils optimale Aufsicht verstellen.
Warum so ein - zugegeben sehr nützliches - Teil fast 50 € kosten muss, würde ich dennoch gerne mal erklärt bekommen ;-).
Der Vorteil gegenüber einem Magic Arm als Monitorhalterung, liegt meines Erachtens in der deutlich besseren Balance.
Je näher der Monitor am Cage befestigt ist, um so leichter lässt sich die Kamera in der Balance halten und gut führen.
Allerdings muss man ausprobieren, ob dann noch genug Platz für weiteres Equipment (z.B. Mikrofon, Kopflicht oder Handgriff) am Cage bleibt.
