- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 January 2024I’m a real real fan of Disney Pixar animation and this is an excellent example. The story is quite a simple one with an ecological message which is quite preachy but doesn’t detract from the movies watching experience. Amazing visually it’s only real let downs are plotting and the script still superior entertainment of its type.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 July 2023This last animated offering from Disney was not as bad as I expected after all the online comment. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t particularly good either. Children would probably be a bit bored and adults would be too as it try’s to hard to be earnest and is not in any way funny or even exciting. It does manage to tick all the diversity boxes though. In fact the only thing not represented in this movie was a cat. Shame on you Disney. The story was heavy on message, which may have been lost on any younger viewers, at the expense of a good story because there really isn’t much of one. So to sum up it was okay but not in any way memorable. And can I just ask why is the animation of humans so ugly these days. Everyone has noses that should have their own zip code.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 February 2023A vastly under-rated film poorly served by Disney marketing. An entrancing story with an underlying theme of family and being yourself without being preachy. And the imagination on display is utterly captivating.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 January 2024In the Disney Classic collection but not their strongest offering
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 February 2023Absolutely brilliant film & a welcome addition to my outstanding Disney Collection of DVDs. I'm not saying anymore as I don't want to reveal anything that could spoil it for the watcher.
